Costume Design

Based on how the main song sounded, I knew that I wanted the short film to be dramatic and mystical. I did not want to incorporate dialogue in this short because I wanted to focus on visuals. This story is basically a retelling of the trope "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover". To make the story intriguing, I added a fantasy theme to it. I first created mood boards for each character that depicts either darkness or lightness. I told the actors what I was looking for and we did our best to capture the fantasy element in their costumes. Additionally, I got special props 3D printed by Arun Surujpaul to add to the character design.
